Vote for Wallace Blake

"Wallace is using his own experience of homelessness to help others"

Voting closes on Friday 23rd October 2009 so make yours count!  Go to this Address:

*Meet Wallace Blake a man with a mission to help others facing situations of social deprivation and homelessness . . . times of despair he has personally suffered himself.  He is well aware of the problems and difficulties vulnerable people face trying to find the best service to guide them to a better way of life.

So using the experience of his own time when he was desperate for help, he is committed to ‘giving something back’ to his fellow citizens.

Wallace is a member of a new group called SOAR and has used his, self-taught IT skills, to design a computer website and an Easy Access Information Library of services in the Glasgow area, set up to help people who are experiencing homelessness or other social deprivation.  It can be used easily by people who are not computer literate.

Now Wallace is hoping the people he is trying to help will in turn give him their support because as a result of all his hard work he is in the running to be Scotland’s Talk Talk Digital Hero an honour which would include a grant of £5,000 for his group.

At present he is one of the last three candidates in Scotland challenging for the title and he needs the votes of supporters to try and secure victory.
